ORTHRUS is a patent-pending host intrusion prevention application developed by WinNet Security Consulting (WNSC). It is designed to run as a background service to continuously protect your computer from malware intrusions.

Unlike traditional signature-based anti-virus solutions which only detect and prevent intrusions from known security vulnerabilities, ORTHRUS is capable of identifying and preventing both known and unknown intrusions using its patent-pending behavior analysis technology.
